Project Manager – Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) / 6 Months Contract

Role and Responsibility

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Business Continuity    Management framework.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly review and update BCM policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and BIAs to identify potential threats and impacts to business operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data and analyze critical business functions.
  • Utilize BCM solutions such as Clearview and Castellan for planning, implementation, and management of BCM activities.
  • Customize and optimize BCM tools to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs).
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive and effective recovery strategies.
  • Conduct BCM training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
  • Ensure staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption.
  • Plan and execute regular testing and exercises of BCPs and DRPs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a key member of the incident response team during disruptions.
  • Coordinate response activities and communication to ensure swift recovery and continuity of operations.
  • Monitor and review BCM performance metrics.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned and feedback.

 

What We Are Looking For

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Business Continuity Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of BCM frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
  • Proficiency with BCM solutions such as Clearview and Castellan.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in BCM (e.g., CBCI) is preferred.
